Join us for this community-wide celebration of fall at the Care Fair, a FUNdraiser benefiting the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, hosted by Academy High's very own Caring Crew student group. 

Here's what you can look forward to:

• 🍂 Games, Prizes, Delicious Treats: Immerse yourself in the beauty of the season with an array of games, prizes, and a delectable bake sale featuring fall-inspired treats. We have delightful activities planned for all ages!
• 🛍️ Silent Online Auction: Be ready to bid on fantastic items and experiences generously donated by our community. The bidding excitement kicks off on Friday, November 3rd, and concludes on Saturday, November 11th at 4pm. Check out the online silent auction here: https://rb.gy/cu43kb
• 🎟️ In-Person Raffle: Join us on the day of the event for an exciting in-person raffle that complements our online silent auction. Get your tickets and a chance to win amazing prizes right at the fair!
• 🍁 Fall Attire Showcase: Embrace the cozy spirit of autumn and showcase your favorite fall-themed attire for a chance to win exciting prizes! Our panel of judges from the Academy High Parent Association (AHPA) is ready to be impressed. Best part? There's NO fee to enter!
• 🌳 Caring Tree Donations: Help us make a difference in the lives of our food-insecure neighbors by contributing to the Caring Tree. Simply pick up a tag from the Giving Tree at the entrance to the school. Tags range from $10 to $1,000, and each dollar donated provides the equivalent of five meals to those in need.

Here's why your support matters:

• 🌽 Supporting Eastern Illinois Foodbank: The Eastern Illinois Foodbank (EIF) serves an 18-county area, covering over 14,500 square miles. At any given time, more than 100,000 people in eastern Illinois face food insecurity. 
• 🍎 Impactful Programs: EIF distributed food to more than 1.5 million people last year. They provided 490,000 lbs of food through 76 Foodmobiles in rural and underserved areas and distributed 69,000 backpacks of food to schoolchildren. 
• 💖 Your Contribution: Every donation to Eastern Illinois Foodbank can have a huge impact! Each $1 donated provides enough food to feed one of our neighbors for a day.
